Hospice Thrift Store The Hospice Thrift Store is a community service through Hospice and Palliative Care of the Eastern Shore, a non-profit agency, which means that all
of the store's revenue goes towards helping patients, families, and the community at large: Hospice Services, Palliative Care, A Bereavement Program, Pet Loss Support, Caregiver Connection, Lyme Connection, The Watchman Program, and Educational Programs for the Community as well as Health Care Providers.
The Hospice Thrift Store allows the community to assist Hospice with its mission of providing
quality patient care. Proceeds ensure that patients get the care
that they need, regardless of their ability to pay.
Hospice appreciates and accepts most donations. The Thrift Store's inventory
consists of donated items from businesses and individuals, donations which are
evaluated and sorted by trained volunteers. Thrift Store volunteers are
required to complete basic Hospice orientation as well as specialized thrift
store training.
The Hospice Thrift Store is open Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and Saturday
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. To schedule a donation pick-up or drop-off, call the
Thrift Store at 757-789-3002.
